Frequently asked questions

You may be wondering…

Do I need to have my qualification recognised?
It depends on the occupation. For a regulated occupation (such as medicine), recognition is mandatory before you can practise. For a non-regulated occupation it is usually not mandatory, but an assessment of your qualifications can help. The situation for this job is shown above.
What level of German do I need?
The required level depends on the occupation and the employer. It is often at least B1 to B2 for a skilled position, and higher for some occupations, notably in healthcare. DZK courses prepare you for it.
How much does the project cost?
German courses, translations, official fees, visa, travel: the budget depends on your situation. An advisor can help you build it during an interview.
Can I come without a job offer?
The Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte) lets you look for a job on the spot, under conditions. An advisor will tell you whether your profile may fit.
Does Campus Germany guarantee a visa or a job?
No. The decision belongs to the embassy, the authorities and employers. We help you prepare a solid file, with truthful information.
Is this occupation open to international profiles?
It depends on your qualification, experience and German level. An adviser reviews your profile case by case.
