Everything you need to know about vocational training in Germany
In Germany, vocational training is designed to teach youeverything you need to do a real job. In the end, you receive anofficial diploma, recognized throughout the country.
You can choose between several types of training:
- primarily learnat school,
- learnin a company,
- or mix school + company in adual system.
The choice mainly depends onwhat you want to do laterand theprofession that interests you
The most well-known training in Germany is called thedual system.
It's simple:
➡️ part of the week, you arein a company,
➡️ the other part, you areat schoolfor theoretical courses.
You learn your future professionfor real, directly on the field.
The training lasts between2 and 3.5 years, and thanks to this practical experience, you arequickly ready for the job market.
Doing vocational training in Germany opens many doors:

Training usually starts onAugust 1st or September 1st.
In the company, you participate in the real tasks of the profession.

Depending on the training, the organization changes:

A guaranteed salary during the training
In Germany, the Ausbildung ispaid from the first year, with a salary startingfrom €1,300 per month, depending on the offers presented by programs such as those offered through KAGEDEV. This salary allows the learner to be financially independent while training.

Our six-step process

Learning the German language
You will learn German for free for 12 months at our campus in Bonamoussadi, through courses designed to help you progress quickly. You will start at level A1 (beginner) and advance step by step to level B2. The courses are taught by our qualified trainers.

Obtaining the training contract in Germany
Nous vous fournissons un contrat officiel de formation professionnelle (Ausbildung) en Allemagne. Ce contrat est accompagné d’un document appelé “Vorabstimmung” (pré-acceptation) qui confirme que l’Allemagne vous accepte déjà avant même votre demande de visa. Cela facilite vos démarches et sécurise votre projet dès le départ.

Preparing the application and visa
L’équipe du Campus prend en charge tout le montage de votre dossier. Elle s’occupe de vos documents scolaires, de vos documents administratifs, et vous prépare spécialement pour réussir l’entretien à l’Ambassade d’Allemagne. Vous êtes donc accompagné(e) à chaque étape, jusqu’à l’obtention de votre visa.

Arrival and settling in Germany
After obtaining your visa, upon your arrival in Germany, you will be welcomed at the airport by our staff. Assistance in finding accommodation is provided (from your home country), and you will receive comprehensive support for your integration, including administrative procedures and social orientation. You are never left alone.

Paid vocational training
You are following a vocational training (Ausbildung) for 3 years at a training school in Germany. Throughout the training, you work, learn a real profession, and receive a guaranteed monthly salary, usually ranging between €850 and €1400 per month, depending on the chosen training and the region in Germany where you will be.

Guaranteed employment after trainingvocational
At the end of the 3rd year, you receive a guaranteed work contract in Germany, as your future profession is officially listed among the sectors with a shortage of qualified personnel, highly sought after throughout the country. You can then work legally and build your future in Germany.
