Vocational training in carpentry in Germany (Tischler/Schreiner) will teach you how to design and build wooden structures : taking measurements, reading plans, cutting and joinery (mortise‑and‑tenon, lamello), machining with traditional tools and CNC (Computer Numerical Control), basics of CAD (Computer‑Aided Design) and CAM (Computer‑Aided Manufacturing), veneering & finishing, as well as installing elements (doors, windows, staircases, kitchens, interior fittings).
It covers materials (solid wood, panels, composites), safety, and principles of sustainability.

The program lasts for 3 years, following a alternation between theory and practice with paid apprenticeship contract, and concludes with the exam of the Handwerkskammer (obtaining the apprenticeship certificate). Possible career paths include:interior design, furniture manufacturing, construction companies and craft workshops, with possible advancements to Meister (workshop manager), Techniker (technician) or business creation

To pursue training in carpentry in Germany, you must :

  • Have at least a high school diploma or an equivalent degree
  • Have a B2 level of German, (some training schools in Germany accept a B1 level)
  • Be under 32 years old(common requirement for international programs)

Learning the German language

You will learn German at our campus in Bonamoussadi for 12 months, through intensive courses designed to help you progress quickly. You will start at level A1 (beginner) and advance step by step to level B2. The courses are taught by our qualified trainers





Training contract

We provide you with an official vocational training contract (Ausbildung) in Germany. This contract is accompanied by a document called “Vorabstimmung” (pre-acceptance) which confirms that Germany already accepts you even before your visa application. This facilitates your procedures and secures your project from the start.



File preparation and visa application

The Campus team takes care of all the preparation of your file. They handle your school documents, your administrative documents, and specifically prepare you to succeed in the interview at the German Embassy. You are therefore supported at every step, until you obtain your visa.





Arrival and settling in Germany

Upon your arrival in Germany, you are welcomed at the airport by our staff. Assistance in finding accommodation is provided, and you benefit from comprehensive support for your integration, including administrative procedures and social orientation. You are never left alone.



Paid vocational training


You will undergo vocational training (Ausbildung) for 3 years. Throughout the training, you work, learn a real profession, and receive a guaranteed monthly salary, usually around €1,350 per month.





Guaranteed employment after vocational training


At the end of the 3rd year, you will receive a guaranteed employment contract in Germany, as your future profession is officially listed among the sectors with a shortage of qualified personnel, highly sought after throughout the country. You can then work legally and build your future in Germany.
